On December 16, Dong Jianbo, Deputy Director of the iCourse Center of Higher Education Press (hereinafter referred to as "HEP"), along with his delegation, visited our institute for a special research on topics such as deepening the development of online courses and digital textbooks, and promoting the co-construction and sharing of high-quality digital educational resources. Vice President Yu Yanjun of the institute, Wang Shujuan, Director of the Teaching Committee, and heads of online courses attended this exchange event, which was chaired by Yu Yanjun.

On behalf of the college, Yu Yanjun extended a warm welcome to Dong Jianbo and his delegation, and introduced the college's key efforts in deeply integrating information technology into the development of teaching resources. He stated that the college places great emphasis on empowering educational and teaching reform through digital intelligence, and remains committed to the construction of MOOC courses, smart courses, and digital textbooks. He expressed hope for further deepening cooperation with Higher Education Press to create high-quality digital teaching resources, thereby helping to elevate the level of education and teaching to new heights.

Dong Jianbo introduced the core positioning, key tasks, and platform resource advantages of the Higher Education Press iCourse Center in serving the national education digitalization strategy, with a focus on the center's efforts in areas such as intelligent MOOCs, digital textbooks, integrated book-course systems, disciplinary knowledge frameworks, and high-quality intelligent agents. He expressed the hope to collaborate with our institute in exploring new models for the co-construction and sharing of online teaching resources, thereby facilitating the broad sharing and deep application of high-quality educational resources.

Wu Yanlin, Chief Editor of Higher Education Press, gave a detailed explanation on the construction process and key points of smart MOOCs and digital textbooks, using specific cases as examples. The attending teachers, drawing on their own teaching experiences, conducted in-depth exchanges with the iCourse team of Higher Education Press on specific issues in the construction of digital teaching resources, such as technology application and promotion.

The research exchange achieved the desired results. Both parties expressed that they will take this exchange as a starting point to establish a regular communication mechanism, jointly contributing to promoting the digital strategy for education and building a high-quality higher education system.
