On July 11, the class of 1996, the class of 2006, the class of 2016, and other 88 alumni of the six departments returned to Harbin Institute of Technology and gathered in the Electrical Building to recall the way to study and share the feelings of their classmates. The 2026 Alumni Homecoming Conference of Electrical College was held in the classroom on the 30029 of the Electrical Building. Dean Ye Xuerong and returning alumni attended the meeting, and Vice Dean Feng Yueshi presided over it.
Ye Xuerong made a special report on the development of the College, introducing in detail the outstanding achievements made by the College in scientific research, personnel training and teaching staff construction in recent years. He pointed out that the College has made sustained efforts in "famous teachers, famous courses, famous textbooks, famous practices, famous achievements" and "big projects, big platforms, big achievements, big teams, big talents", and steadily improved the comprehensive strength of disciplines, thus contributing to the technological breakthroughs and personnel training in the field of national electrical engineering.。
Zhao Xiaoping, an alumnus of 2006 and overseas project manager of Nanrui Jibao, deeply thanked his alma mater and the college for their careful training over the years, and wished the college a better tomorrow. Yao Lei, an alumnus of 1996 and founder of Shanghai Xinbaishi Intelligent Technology, combined his 30 years of growth from a young student to an AI entrepreneur, thanked the college for its professional training and spiritual forging, and wished the college to reach a new peak in the new century. Lv Heng, an alumnus of the class of 1996, said with deep feeling that "tenacity, courage and responsibility are the genes, imprints and strength of workers, as well as the source of strength to support me along the way and the spiritual pillar to overcome difficulties in the past 30 years".
Ye Xuerong emphasized that alumni are the most valuable resources and the most solid backing of the college.
