On March 26, Lyu Gang from the Guiyang Bureau of China Southern Power Grid's Ultra High Voltage Transmission Company (hereinafter referred to as "CSG Guiyang Bureau") visited our institute for a technical exchange. The seminar was chaired by Vice President Yu Guodong. Teachers including Zhang Chengming, Guo Yufeng, and Li Zhongwei participated in the technical exchange.
Lyu Gang expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the college and highly commended its research capabilities in the field of electric power. He introduced the current corporate overview, technical needs, and development trends of the Southern Power Grid Guiyang Bureau, stating that he hopes to further deepen cooperation with the School of Electrical Engineering through this exchange, jointly tackle technical challenges, and promote the intelligent upgrade of power grid operation, maintenance, and inspection.
Yu Guodong, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to Lv Gang. He noted that Southern Grid Guiyang Bureau, as a core force in regional grid operations, has accumulated extensive experience in ensuring urban power supply and advancing distribution network technological innovation. He expressed the hope that through this exchange, the collaboration between the college and the company in technical research and joint talent cultivation could be further deepened, with joint efforts to tackle engineering challenges such as improving distribution network reliability and applying intelligent operation and maintenance technologies, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the national power industry.
