On March 23rd, after the school's annual safety work conference was held, Nie Qiuyue, secretary of the party committee of the college, and Ye Xuerong, dean of the college, attached great importance to it. On the afternoon of the same day, they organized a faculty and staff conference of the whole college to convey the spirit of safety work of the school at the first time and comprehensively deploy the key safety tasks in the new year. The meeting made it clear that we should focus on deep-seated and root-rooted problems with the "spirit of nailing nails", resolutely overcome paralysis and luck, and earnestly implement the idea of "seeking long-term results, seeing practical results, and better coordinating development and safety" throughout safety work.
From March 23rd to 26th, Nie Qiuyue, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Ye Xuerong, Dean of the College, led an inspection team to the laboratories and teachers and students' offices of Science Park Science and Technology Building, Science Park C2 and 2C, motor building, manufacturing building and other teaching and research sites to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth investigation of potential safety risks.
The inspection team carried out a dragnet investigation around the common hidden dangers of the college, such as electrical equipment and electricity safety, adhered to the problem orientation, implemented the principle of "immediate reform" for the problems found, and limited the problems to be solved on the same day and completed the rectification on the same day, so as to ensure that the hidden dangers do not stay overnight and the chain of responsibility does not hang. Through photo return and secondary review, "closed-loop management" is formed, "cancellation of accounts" is realized, and efforts are made to overcome difficulties and compact the main responsibility.
While paying close attention to rectification, the college pays attention to excavating typical examples with outstanding safety management results, builds an experience exchange platform for typical cases of laboratory safety education, and promotes grass-roots practical experience that can be replicated and popularized. For example, the 6S management implemented by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Reliability provides a visual, standardized and traceable management paradigm for the safe operation of laboratories; The Science and Technology Research Group of the Institute of Electromagnetic and Electronic Technology has realized clear classification and identification of equipment and tools, and achieved the refined management of "one thing, one thing, one card, one thing, one responsibility".
During the visit, the dean and secretary particularly emphasized that safety work depends on the joint construction and sharing of all employees, and we must resolutely overcome paralysis and luck.
