On July 11th, the "Cradle Science and Technology Culture Festival" of School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology and the Main Forum of Electric Empowerment New Productivity Frontier were held in Lecture Hall 101 of Campus Activity Center. Technical experts from Huawei Digital Energy, NARI Relay, ENN Fusion, CRRC Changke, Harbin Electric Group, Legend Holdings and other enterprises gathered with more than 100 masters and doctoral students to explore the frontier of electrical technology and the growth direction of industrial talents through in-depth dialogue between industry, university and research.

Hou Zhaozheng, an outstanding alumnus of our college and director of Huawei's Digital Energy Technology and Platform Planning Department, gave an explanation with the overall technical architecture of digital energy as the main line; Tian Jie, a national high-level talent and deputy chief engineer of NARI Relay Research Institute, focused on network technology and deeply analyzed the key technologies for the stable operation of new power systems; Liu Bing, head of hydrogen boron technology group of ENN Energy Research Institute, introduced the latest progress of spherical ring hydrogen boron fusion technology; Li Kai, chief technical expert of CRRC and deputy director of CRRC Changke Maglev Research Institute, systematically sorted out the achievements of two high-speed maglev technologies: normal guidance and superconductivity; Yu Hao, an outstanding alumnus of our college and CEO of Legend Holdings, explained the integration path of AI with electrical, energy and high-end equipment and the industrial investment layout; Qin Daqing, a national outstanding engineer and chief scientist of Harbin Electric Group, explained the key support of intelligent hydropower equipment for wind and solar consumption around the regulation demand of new power system; The former vice president of the school, IEEE Fellow, and Professor Xu Dianguo of our college focused on permanent magnet motor drive control technology, and shared the team's application results in new energy vehicles, wind power and other fields.
