On December 13th, at the 8th Science and Technology Innovation Conference and Science and Technology Innovation Forum of Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiangnan Shipyard Group), the school signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangnan Shipyard Group to jointly build a ship electrical laboratory (hereinafter referred to as a laboratory). The signing ceremony marks that the collaborative innovation of both schools and enterprises has entered a substantial landing stage, which will give strong scientific research kinetic energy into the technological breakthrough of ship electrification, informatization and intelligence.
This joint venture between the two sides is an important measure to implement the national strategy of maritime power and manufacturing power. It will fully integrate the education, science and technology and talent advantages of Harbin Institute of Technology with the industrial scene and market resources of Jiangnan Shipyard Group, and build an integrated innovation mechanism of industry, university, research and application.
The laboratory will focus on the advanced ship electrical field to carry out joint research, solve the problem of integrated power and control system integration, support the research and development of new high-end ship types, and help the ecological upgrading of the shipping industry. The landing of this laboratory is not only a milestone for both sides to deepen collaborative innovation, but also the "source" of key technological breakthroughs in China's marine electrical field. In the future, the two sides will use the laboratory as a carrier to jointly undertake major national scientific research projects, declare high-level scientific and technological awards, accelerate the transformation of cutting-edge technological achievements into actual productivity, help China's high-tech ship development level rank among the world's leading ranks, and demonstrate our school's responsibility to serve the national strategy.
