On December 20, 2025, the 13th Shenzhou Forum for Outstanding Young Scholars of Harbin Institute of Technology Sub-forum of School of Electrical Engineering and Automation was successfully held online and offline. This forum attracted eight outstanding young scholars from many well-known universities and research institutions such as UK , Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Ye Xuerong, Dean of School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, and faculty representatives of the School attended the forum, which was chaired by Guan Yueshi, Deputy Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation.
Ye Xuerong delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the School, and systematically introduced the development process and accumulation of academic achievements of the School. He pointed out that under the strong leadership of the party committee of the school, the college has always placed the talent introduction and education work at the strategic core position; Under the solid guarantee of the school's talent policy, a "master + team" talent training system has been established to provide young scholars with all-round support such as teaching support, scientific research and life security, so as to help young scholars grow rapidly and reach a new peak in their careers. We expect outstanding young scholars to join the School and work together to write a new chapter of both personal ideals and disciplinary development.
In the academic report session, the participating young scholars made special academic reports in turn. Participating experts and young scholars had a heated discussion about the technical difficulties, research ideas and application prospects in the report.
The successful holding of this forum not only set up an efficient platform for academic exchange and ideological collision for young scholars at home and abroad, but also effectively enhanced their comprehensive understanding of the policies of loving, attracting and nurturing talents. After the meeting, young scholars expressed their expectations for the disciplinary strength and development platform of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology, and were eager to rely on the broad development stage set up by the school to show their academic ambitions and realize their life ideals.
