NARI-Relays Scholarship Award Ceremony and Donation Signing Ceremony Held

On May 14th, the award ceremony and donation signing ceremony of NARI-Relays Scholarship were held in conference room 30019 of Dianji Building. Lu Yu, vice president of Nanjing Nari-Relays Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nari-Relays) Research Institute, and Bai Yang, secretary general of School Education Development Foundation, attended the event. The ceremony was presided by Nie Qiuyue, secretary of the Party Committee of school.

In her speech, Nie Qiuyue expressed gratitude to NARI-Relays for its long-term care and support for the development of the college. She pointed out that the two sides have close exchanges in the fields of party building and talent training, and the renewal of the scholarship fund will promote the steady improvement of both schools and enterprises in the integration of production and education and the co-education of talents. Lu Yu said that the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology has always delivered a large number of outstanding talents to NARI-Relays, and looked forward to the continuous cultivation of both sides in key fields such as smart grid and new energy storage in the future, and contributed to serving the national energy strategy.

At the meeting, Liu Yi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Electrical College, read the Decision on Commending the Winners of NARI-Relays Scholarship. Guo Dongxin, the award-winning student representative, said in his speech that students will adhere to the school motto spirit and culture of Harbin Institute of Technology in the new era, devote themselves to the frontier of electric power science and technology to overcome difficulties and bravely shoulder the mission of strengthening the country.

 Bai Yang, Secretary General of School Education Development Foundation, and Xu Chao, Deputy Director of NARI Human Resources Center, signed the NARI Scholarship Donation Agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, NARI will continue to donate to Harbin Institute of Technology to support the talent training of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation. After the signing ceremony, the school and enterprise exchanged information on scientific research and talent training.
