In order to recognize the advanced, set a typical example, and focus on displaying the spiritual character and value pursuit of Chinese youth in the new era, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation decided to award 29 Chinese Youth Medal, 30 Chinese Youth Medal Collectives and 749 Chinese Youth Pioneers in the new era.

Dong Zhen, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology, has carried out cutting-edge theoretical innovation and key technology research in the fields of low-altitude hydrogen-powered aircraft. As the project leader, he presided over and undertook more than ten national entrepreneurship key support projects and provincial and ministerial projects, and participated in many national key projects such as the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Selected into Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 List, Forbes China 30 Under 30 List, Suzhou Young Scientist and other honorary awards. The founded Suzhou Suyu Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded as a national high-tech enterprise and a potential unicorn enterprise in Jiangsu Province. The self-developed global integrated intelligent and safe hydrogen-powered UAV has won the 49th Geneva International Invention Exhibition, the Double Gold Award of European Academy of Sciences, the Charter Gold Award of the 3rd Asian Innovation and Invention Expo & the Grand Award of Geneva Organizing Committee.
Yan Guanwei studied at School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a bachelor's degree. He is currently the Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Research Center of Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute.
Lu Xiaolin studied at School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Harbin Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a bachelor's degree. He is currently the part-time vice chairman of Heilongjiang Women's Federation, vice chairman of Heilongjiang General Chamber of Commerce, chairman and engineer of Bofa Kang'an Holding Group Co., Ltd.
